Once again there is a lot of time needed in my world for quiet contemplation, Soul searching and lots and lots of solitude. It has been very quiet .. I have started up a new art journal and am happily creating, journaling, drawing and exploring. I took apart an old physics book, and bound it with lots of craft papers as well as torn pages from another book. Then gesso'ed and started colouring with my fave caran d'ache neocolors. My absolute all time favourite stuff those little sticks of colour.

 

Then I tore pages from a wonderful Dutch magazine (photography is stunning) Happinez. My mum keeps these magazines for me and I love the pictures.. This one above makes me want to take my socks off and sit in the garden with a bowl of water & rose petals! Maybe I should do just that!

I know that we all have lots going on in life and you have much going on in yours...but please know, you are deeply missed when you are absent from this virtual world. oh viv, this book is so soft to look at. it feels so inviting... smiling to think of you working in it with the neo color crayons. i love them too. they were what got me into drawing and painting a few years back. they were so easy to use and made everything look great - how could i not proceed?
